WPX 250 Gear Motor 15kW 20Hp

The WPX 250 Gear Motor 15kW 20Hp is a combination of an electric motor – 3-phase electric motor and a gearbox. When operating, the electric motor generates high power, while the gearbox reduces rotational speed and increases torque, thereby helping the system run smoothly, pull heavy loads, and perform well in industrial environments.

The 3-phase electric motor 15kW 20Hp with powerful capacity and stable operation, combined with a sturdy worm gearbox featuring precisely meshed worm gear and worm shaft, helps the machine run smoothly.

General design of the WPX 250 Gear Motor 15kW 20Hp

The WPX 250 Gear Motor 15kW 20Hp is a complete electric drive solution, combining a pure copper core 3-phase electric motor and a WPX 250 worm gearbox with a bottom output shaft.

Both the motor housing and gearbox are cast from thick, solid cast iron, capable of withstanding mechanical impacts in harsh factory environments. Inside, the high-hardness hardened steel worm shaft meshes precisely with the brass worm gear, creating a self-lubricating mechanism that helps the device eliminate vibrations and maintain stable torque when pulling heavy loads. The entire outer surface is protected by an electrostatic paint layer, resisting chemical corrosion and rust according to industrial standards.

Detailed structure of the gear motor

The WPX 250 Gear Motor 15kW 20Hp belongs to the 3-phase gear motor line, consisting of 2 main parts:

Electric motor

• Stator: Wound with pure copper wire inside, providing stable current, energy saving, and generating a strong rotating magnetic field.
• Rotor: Assembled from technical steel sheets, rotating thanks to the magnetic field generated by the stator, transmitting force directly to the machine shaft.

WPX 250 worm gearbox

• Worm shaft: The shaft part is made of hardened steel, sturdy, heavy-duty, and capable of withstanding high temperatures.
• Worm gear: The worm gears are meticulously machined, mesh well, and reduce noise and vibration.
