  • Auxiliary drive unit: Includes couplings and pulleys, belts or sprockets, etc. These are connection components that enable the ZQ gearbox to work in conjunction and synchronize with the electric motor and the equipment it needs to drive.

Operating Principle of ZQ 1-Stage Gearboxes

The operating principle of ZQ 1-Stage Gearboxes is very easy to understand, similar to shifting from a small to a large sprocket on a bicycle:

  1. When the motor rotates rapidly, it causes the input shaft and the small gear mounted on it to rotate.
  2. The small gear rotates and transmits power to the meshing large gear. Because the large gear is bigger than the small gear, it will rotate slower, thus reducing the speed.
  3. Although the rotational speed is reduced, in return, the rotational force (torque) transmitted to the output shaft is significantly increased.
  4. Finally, the output shaft will rotate at a slower but more powerful speed to drive the load, for example, rotating the wheels of an overhead crane.
