2-Stage UDL 0.8kW – WPDX 70 Gearbox

The 2-Stage UDL 0.8kW – WPDX 70 Gearbox features a compact design, making it one of the most popular choices on the market today. With its unique design, this gearbox series is assembled from a mechanical speed variator (UDL) and a worm gearbox, allowing the motor to flexibly adjust the output speed and rotation speed of the equipment in a convenient, compact package.

Overview of the 2-Stage UDL 0.8kW – WPDX 70 Gearbox Design

As a 2-stage gearbox line, its exterior is made of premium cast iron and coated with electrostatic paint to minimize scratches and withstand high temperatures in harsh external environments. The 0.8kW 1Hp motor speed variator combined with the WPDX 70 worm gearbox forms a compact yet powerful 2-stage drive unit, optimizing torque and providing flexible speed control.

Detailed Structure of the 2-Stage UDL – WPDX Gearbox

As a 2-stage gearbox series, its structure is assembled from a mechanical speed variator with a power of 0.8kW 1Hp combined with a WPDX 70 worm gearbox to form a compact and flexible 2-stage drive system.

It connects to an electric motor (specifically a 3-phase electric motor 0.8kW 1Hp) featuring high-quality transmission gears, a mechanical speed adjustment knob, and a breather plug for heat dissipation and pressure equalization.

• Structure of the UDL 0.8kW 1Hp gearbox:
  • Worm wheel: A toothed component mounted on the output shaft, meshing with the worm gear to reduce rotation speed.
  • Output shaft (worm wheel shaft): Connected to the worm wheel, receiving rotational motion and transmitting torque.
  • Housing: Made of solid cast iron to protect internal components.
  • Bearings: Support the input and output shafts, reducing friction and allowing free rotation.
• Structure of the WPDX 70 worm gearbox:
  • Worm wheel: Made from wear-resistant bronze alloy for smooth operation and increased service life of the equipment.
  • Worm shaft: Made of durable stainless steel with surface hardening heat treatment for powerful and precise power transmission.

Specifications of the 2-Stage UDL 0.8kW – WPDX 70 Gearbox

To ensure optimal equipment operation and seamless compatibility with machinery systems, below is a detailed summary of the core specifications for the 2-Stage UDL 0.8kW – WPDX 70 Gearbox.

Specifications of the WPDX 70 Worm Gearbox

As the primary component responsible for power transmission and speed reduction in the system, the WPDX 70 gearbox possesses key mechanical characteristics.

Specifications of the UDL 0.8kW Motor Speed Variator

To meet the demand for flexible speed adjustment according to specific production processes, the mechanical speed variator (UDL) plays a pivotal role. Below is the detailed specification table for the 0.8kW motor speed variator.

Common Applications of the 2-Stage UDL 0.8kW – WPDX 70 Gearbox

With its unique design and powerful performance, the 2-stage worm gearbox has a wide range of popular applications as follows:

• Heavy material conveyor systems in cement plants, brick factories, and mineral processing facilities.
• Industrial hydraulic presses and steel rolling mills.
• Stone crushing, coal crushing, and ore grinding production lines.
• Large-scale concrete mixers, batching machines, and thick chemical mixers.

How to Assemble the WPDX Worm Gearbox and UDL Mechanical Speed Variator into a 2-Stage Gearbox

To complete the assembly of the 2-stage gearbox (combining the UDL mechanical speed variator and the WPDX worm gearbox), you need to follow precise mechanical procedures to ensure drive performance and equipment durability. Below are the detailed steps:

• Inspection and Preparation: Check the shaft dimensions (19mm input shaft, 6mm keyway) to ensure a complete and exact fit.
• Connecting the UDL Variator and WPDX Gearbox: Use a connecting flange to attach the output of the UDL unit to the input of the WPDX gearbox. Tighten the flange bolts in a star pattern (symmetrically) to ensure the variator and gearbox are tightly pressed and concentric.

Choosing the 2-Stage UDL 0.8kW – WPDX 70 Gearbox is a smart investment solution, helping to optimize drive performance and flexible speed adjustment capabilities for industrial machinery systems.
