Step 1: Open the terminal box

Remove the terminal box cover to inspect the interior. Check the grounding wire, connection points, and ensure there are no signs of moisture or looseness.

Step 2: Identify the terminal connections

Based on the diagram on the cover to distinguish the terminal posts. Electromagnetic brakes are usually pre-wired via internal components; do not arbitrarily change them.

Step 3: Connect the power supply

Connect the 3-phase power supply to terminals U1, V1, W1. Use appropriate cable lugs, tighten securely, and recheck contact points.

Step 4: Post-connection check

Apply brief power to check the direction of rotation. Disconnect power to check if the brake acts correctly. Further observe the stability of the shaft during operation.

Note: Do not supply power to terminals U2, V2, W2. Disconnect power completely before operating and tightly close the terminal box upon completion.
