Remove the terminal box cover to check the inside. Observe the contacts, ensuring they are not loose or oxidized.

Step 2: Identify the terminals

Determine the wire ends according to the markings and accompanying diagram. The electromagnetic brake assembly is usually pre-wired internally; check the correct position before powering on.

Step 3: Connect 3-phase power

Connect the power supply to terminals U1, V1, W1. Arrange the wires neatly, avoid stacking them on top of each other, and ensure insulation distance between the connection ends.

Step 4: Test run and inspection

Power on briefly to check the direction of rotation. Cut off power to check brake operation. Repeat a few times to evaluate stability.
