WPDO 200 Gear Motor 11kW 15Hp

The WPDO 200 Gear Motor 11kW 15Hp is a mechanical drive gear motor used to reduce rotational speed and increase torque for industrial machinery systems. The device consists of an electric motor coupled with a gearbox, commonly used in material handling systems, mixing equipment, and heavy-duty applications. A size 200 gearbox is typically paired with an 11kW (15Hp) motor.

Design Overview of WPDO 200 Gear Motor 11kW 15Hp

The device uses a 3-phase electric motor to generate input rotational motion. This motion is transmitted to the worm and worm gear mechanism inside the gearbox to change the output speed according to the selected gear ratio. For specific applications, users can choose a 1 phase gear motor or a 3 phase gear motor with a power rating suitable for operational requirements.

The motor housing is made of cast iron or aluminum, featuring cooling fins and a terminal box on the body for power supply connection. The WPDO 200 gearbox features a right-angle input and output shaft configuration, with an input flange designed for direct mounting to the motor.

Detailed Structure of WPDO 200 Gear Motor 11kW 15Hp

The device consists of an integrated motor assembly and gearbox assembly synchronized to reduce rotational speed and transmit power to the working mechanism.

3-Phase Electric Motor 11kW 15Hp:

• Stator: Made of 100% solid cast copper, it is the stationary internal part of the device.
• Rotor: The rotating part made of high-grade steel laminations, which rotates due to the magnetic field generated by the stator.
• The housing is made of high-grade cast iron or aluminum, with a cooling fan equipped at the rear of the motor to cool it during operation.

WPDO 200 Worm Gearbox:

• The outer housing is made of solid cast iron, sturdy and durable, rust-resistant, and suitable for high-temperature environments.
• Worm gear: Made of high-grade copper alloy of superior quality, ensuring smooth operation and low noise levels.
• Worm shaft: Machined from high-grade steel and positioned inside the gearbox.

Common Applications of WPDO 200 Gear Motor 11kW 15Hp

As a gear motor above 3.7kW, it has a wide variety of applications as follows:

• Hydraulic presses and crushers, suitable for systems requiring strong pressing force and continuous operation.
• Heavy-duty conveyors, cement and brick industries, and automatic bagging systems.
• Steel manufacturing and heavy material handling industries.

How to Install WPDO Worm Gearbox onto a 3-Phase Electric Motor

Proper technical assembly helps the WPDO gearbox and 3-phase electric motor operate stably, minimize vibration, and extend equipment lifespan.

Step 1: Preparation before installation

Check the condition of the gearbox, electric motor, keys, and bolts. Before proceeding, users can watch the gear motor video to clearly understand the installation sequence and connection points.

Step 2: Check compatibility

Compare the motor shaft dimensions with the bore of the gearbox, and check the flange and connection points to ensure accurate connection.

Step 3: Assemble the motor and gearbox

Slowly insert the motor shaft into the bore, aligning the key and keyway until they fit completely. Avoid using excessive force to force parts into place if they are misaligned.

Step 4: Completion and trial run

Tighten the connecting bolts in a symmetrical order, then run a no-load test to check vibration, noise, and system performance. Users can refer to additional summary videos to learn about operation and maintenance notes after installation.
