Step 1: Remove the Terminal Box Cover

Use a screwdriver to remove the screws and open the capacitor box cover on the motor body. Inside are the terminal posts from the electrical windings and capacitors.

Step 2: Prepare Wires and Protective Equipment

Use a 2-core power cable with a cross-section of 4.0mm – 6.0mm. Connect the power through a 30A – 40A Circuit Breaker (CB).

Step 3: Connect 220V Power

Identify the 2 power supply terminals (usually marked Z1, U1 or according to the diagram printed on the box cover). Connect the 2 power wires (L and N) 220V to these 2 terminals. Use a wrench to tighten the nuts to ensure electrical contact, avoiding heat generation and sparking.

Step 4: Operation and Rotation Direction Check

Close the cover, turn on the CB to test run. If the shaft rotates in the reverse direction of the load machine, disconnect the power and cross the positions of the two wire ends of the running winding (working winding).
