WPDKS 70 Worm Gearbox

The WPDKS 70 worm gearbox is a high-quality industrial product, imported and distributed by Thành Thái Motor, a reputable unit with many years of experience in providing power transmission equipment and electric motors. The product is designed to meet the demands of powerful power transmission, stable operation, and energy savings, suitable for medium and heavy industrial systems.

External design of the WPDKS 70 worm gearbox

The gearbox has a compact yet robust design, easily arranged in various machinery systems. The solid cast iron housing with a smooth powder-coated surface resists corrosion, protecting the equipment from dust and harsh environmental conditions. The gearbox can be installed vertically or horizontally, combined with a precise hollow output shaft, helping to connect directly to the motor or other transmission mechanisms without much adjustment, ensuring stable transmission force and synchronous operation.

Internal structure of the WPDKS 70 worm gearbox:

The 1-Stage gearbox is optimally designed with high-quality components, ensuring durability and superior transmission efficiency:

• Housing: Cast in one piece from iron, with good load-bearing capacity, protecting internal parts from mechanical impacts and the external environment.
• Worm shaft: Uses hardened alloy steel, precise torque, helping to transmit force effectively and limit wear.
• Worm wheel: Durable alloy bronze, high self-lubricating capability, reducing wear during continuous operation.
• Bearings: Support stable shaft rotation, reduce vibration, and increase working accuracy.
• Covers and oil seals: Prevent lubricating oil from leaking and keep dust out.

Practical applications of the WPDKS 70 worm gearbox

Thanks to its durable design and strong power transmission capability, the WPDKS 70 worm gearbox is widely used in medium and heavy industrial systems:

• Large conveyors and heavy production lines.
• Lifting tables, medium and heavy load lifting mechanisms.
• Turntables, rotating mechanisms, and equipment requiring stable movement.
• Agitators, mixers, and medium-to-large capacity automation systems.

Guide to adding oil for the WPDKS worm gearbox

To properly change and add oil for the WPDKS worm gearbox, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Drain old oil from the gearbox

Remove the oil drain plug at the bottom of the gearbox and catch all the old oil in a container. After the oil has drained completely, clean the drain plug and reinstall it in the correct position.

Step 2: Open the oil filling hole

Remove the oil fill plug or breather plug on the gearbox body to prepare for adding new oil.

Step 3: Add lubricating oil

Use a funnel to slowly pour gear oil into the gearbox. It is recommended to use oil with viscosity ISO VG 320 or ISO VG 460 according to the equipment’s operating requirements.

Step 4: Check oil level

Observe the oil sight glass and fill up to the standard level or about 2/3 of the sight glass. Do not overfill beyond the specified level to avoid temperature rise or oil leakage.

Step 5: Complete the oil filling process

Reinstall the oil fill plug, clean any oil adhering to the outside of the gearbox body, and check the sealing positions before putting the equipment into operation.
